  Aussie catch seafoods... what on earth happened? Let me just start off by saying that a one star rating I have give you is quite generous. Now I've been a loyal customer of Aussie catch seafoods for a few years now. Quite regularly I drive to the coast on the weekend just to go to Aussie catch however over the past few months every time I have left increasingly disappointed. My parents visited the seafood establishment a few days before my most recent vist and said very strongly that they won't be back. From how they described their meal I decided I had to see for myself. Today I went to Aussie catch an ordered a piece of cod with a small chips and paid a nice 15% surcharge as well might I add. I ate half of what I ordered and unfortunately had put the rest in the trash. Now I'm not a profession cook but I can say for certain that my fish was well and truly over done and oddly discoloured. The outer crumbed layer was burnt to a crisp and the middle riddled with bones. In addition to the disgusting piece of fish I tried to eat... my serving of a 'small chips' was about one third of what I paid for. I'm extreamly upset that my favourite seafood place has now well and truly seen the last of me and anyone else I know looking for a decent feed on the Sunshine Coast.

  New name -Brick Lane. Only got an icecream cone but don't bother, tiniest scoops of icecream for $6.50. Total rip off.

  Great! fish and chips were fresh and perfectly cooked price was good and just as good if not better then the extremely busy over priced rivals accross the road :-)
